Best month in my life

1 November 2010

Yes, from my last post and on its been all upwards. Just a completly sick end of the month, my results have skyrocketed. heres the graph

Its hard to say what really happened, my game have become so much better, stable, aggressive and just complete lately i have been crushing everything thats been sitting on my tables. I have moved up to NL100 now, but still playing a mixed game of Nl50/100 , depending on my state of mind and fatigue and stuff, but mainly focusing on getting in as much volume on NL100 as possible. i am overrolled for the stakes so if november goes according to plans i will be moving up to NL200 hopefully in december. I will probably have to do alot of work there before i can move to NL400 but we'll take it when it comes, now i need to beat NL100 for a good amount of hands first.

As you see the volume for october is outstandingly low, only managed to play ~25 000 hands, had so much going on with work, outside life and honestly ive been really tired and quit sessions early. Need to work on getting more volume in november aswell and to read that damn Let there be range book, i think i got loads to learn. Im thinking of doing a sweat video pretty soon, it will be out on the blog as soon as its done, it will be a NL100 4 table sessionmost likely. Keep tuned

a little bit of both

23 October 2010

Hey

No action today so i decided to write a few lines. October is going very well, its a record month but it could've been even better.

I took on a guy called mrswingking, apperantly he've been winning money up at nl2k/5k and was now playing Nl100. the dude was very aggressive and he ran godmode on me, he took home over 10 buyins and i suffered my worst loosingday sofar ever! 1200 $ down, which at that day was my total earnings for october.

After that i went down from the nl100 tables and i havent had a loosingday since. The month is currently landing on a total profit of about 2,200 $ , with rb 2700 which is a record for me. Im very happy with my results but for november, i will move up to nl100 completly since im almost rolled for it now.

http://img686.imageshack.us/i/octobergraph.jpg/

My volumes have been really really low though, i have so much going on at work right now that i cannot play any madness hours like before. I need to focus on my job a few weeks more and i hope i dont loose touch with poker.

Ill be back when the time to move up at nl100 bracket for good gets closer! hopefully it will be soonish !

October madness

11 October 2010
Not many updates coming in anymore, i simply dont have time to blog but since i aint getting any action at the moment i felt i could write a little something about whats going on !

So after my last post about breakeven results for september my results skyrocketed, i ended the month at 1700 $ and with rakeback + rake race bonuses i won thats in the where abouts of 2500-2800 dollars. Which is really nice for NL20 play. In the start of october i moved up for good, im not playing a single table of Nl20 anymore and its only NL50 headsup/sh and NL100 HU. I only bumhunt NL100 as of yet since the stakes are still kinda high for me, but whatever.

(taking a break from writing since a fish joined my tables)...

okey just suffered my biggest cooler sofar but i will survive, nasty 170 bb pot with kings some guy calls it off with TPRK(retard kicker) and gets trips on river. but i stacked a fish at NL100 so im still up 200 today.

So... kinda lost track here but its about october something..

October is going great! were just 1/3 in and im up 1200 already, if things keep going this good ( AND NO MORE FING COOLERS,GOD THAT HURT MY SOUL) i'll be in for a record month.

Ive had many good battles at NL50 sofar, i took on FearEE123 or something, very good player, he played supersolid but left with some profit. Then i took on a guy called Ieatbigmac and he played pretty nitty but didnt do much harm, we had a very similar playstyle except i was way more aggressive and the result of that really showed in the game. after 2000 hands he was down 10 buyins, it was quite bloody, i really played that session extremely well and knew what was going on, valuetowning really thinly when i thought i would get locked down and gave up spots where he didnt give me credit. But the game was all about me (sounds selfish right) since of my aggression, and no matter my action that kind of match will always end in my favour.

Smizla have been back a few times giving me more money, he is down around 1000 dollars now, feel pretty sad for him but whatever its a war and he choose the wrong opponent.

Im still not battling all the people at NL50, but most regs dont sit with me since the rake is still insane and we wouldnt turn a profit either way probably. The regs are much much better here and i have respect for most of the people playing everyday. I have had a tilt session at nl100 unfortunately, it involved a donk running superhot and totally playing in a different world. He had my hated playstyle, limpcall and aggressive postflop style, and i know i shouldve quit him. But when he hit houses and flushes, i sat with flushes , straight, trips or whateve and since i had put enough pressure on the pots and he played so aggressive postflop i had to look him up many times. It was just a cooler manifest going on for 500 hands and he took 5 buyins. I learnt alot about my weaknesses after that match and im turning down limpers with a strong/decent postflop understanding until i learn to handle them better.

i got a superawesome deal from my supplier that includes me raking 10 000 bucks until december and i will recieve the superbook Let there be range, NL workbook and some other supercool stuff. Since i am sucha rakemachine i have already got Let there be Range so i will dig into that now and hope to learn alot and get a better and solid handreading ability and increase my postflop/river aggression and unpolarize my plays ( which is my leaks

reporting back in a while, gg hf!

September bites

26 September 2010
September haven't been good, there i said it. For the longer part of the month i've had breakeven results, mostly because i've been on vacation and pretty sick aswell.

I took a week off work and went to Finland and then further to Estonia, amazing trip, met alot of cool dudes along the way and we had some wild parties. In a town called Turkku in Finland i had my "real" live cashgame virginity taken. Fucking epic to be honest, onlinepoker really is a world of its own and i want to play more live, it is so fun.

Resume of what happened: We were heading out after a big meal of Tapas and i was starting to get a little boozed up, had something like 2-3 beers and we came to a pub. Whle there i instantly noticed they had 2 cashgames rolling, it was a really strange setup, they played 8max and blinds were 1-1 euro with a maxbuyin of 100€. I put myself up on the waitlist and went too grab some cash at the closest atm. The atm was far away and while i was on my way back my buddie called and told me a spot was open for me, i ran back to the pub and sat down.

The table consisted of 2 older guys which were seated to the left and right of me, they stank pretty bad and was quite loaded. 2 positions to the left of me was the fish, and now we're talking 2004 fish dela fish. A taiwanese lady in the 50:thes, loaded and screaming wildly in a language i did not recognize made the game going and she played sort of 70-80 bb stack, ofc standard for superfish!

Then there was a younger lad who were tilting pretty bad, he had suffered some big losses and didn't play well at all, and the rest of the table was unknown random people. I didnt get too play too many hands, the action was set to close in 10 hands from the point where i sat down so i was just enjoying the ride with no anticipations too win anything. One of the first hands was really awesome, the taiwanese blows 80 % of her stack on a bluff, which leaves her with about 20 €.

She limps btn, sb raises bb calls, Taiwaneese shoves rest of her stack and sb +bb calls.

Flop is ATJ tt or something and both sb and bb checks. Turn is a Q , sb checks and bb bombs. sb tanks for a long while and calls. River is a complete blank and sb checks. BB, who was the tilted guy , tanks for a while aswell. THEN FROM NOWHERE THE TAIWANEESE LADY STANDS UP, SCREAMS AND THROWS HER HAND FACEUP AT THE TABLE !!! MOIIAA KUNNA AAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCEEEEEEEEEEE KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!!!!!

So, she flips over the joint with the hand still going and bb is like , wtf ?? Floorman tells her what she did wrong and etc etc. No one wanted to cause a fuzz so her hand was still live ( while with true casino rules i suppose she'd get mucked ). BB bets pretty strong and sb tanks again, totally confused. He mucks and BB flaps over a K rag for a chop with the taiwaneese lady ( which took a while for her to understand haha ).

Thats really the most interesting hand that i saw, i didnt get to win a hand and the last hand i was faced with 3 allins on A35-tt board and i had A4. I pretty much instamucked and there were 2 flushdraws and 1 AT so i was pretty dead. While i did loose 11€ i went to cash in my money with a smile, i had finally got to play livepoker and over 500 000 hands online now seamed to fade in comparison the 8 hands i got to play live...

Back to Online poker though, not much gaming for first half of september and the last days ive been running pretty bad. A few things have made me end up with a pretty decent winning month still:

- The best promotion ever, Betfred rake the race series, An ongoing 80 000 $ rake competition splitted depending on what stakes you play. If you play NL20 ( which i do mostly ) and manage to rake the most in a week you win 300 dollars. The first week i wasn't home but this week i took home first place on the leaderboard. There is still 2 weeks left and i'm expecting to win atleast one more.
- A guy named smizla managed to donate over 600 dollars to me in 1 day. We fought at Nl20£ first and after downing him for over 9 buyins he sat down at NL50 and i quickly joined him and we kept the battle at NL50. I've had some other guys loosing over 10-15 bi's in a session aswell, and that has helped me keep my numbers green.
- Got a superrakeback program this time, getting 50 % back of what i play and that helps alot playing HU at micros which is a nightmare.
- I've put in tons of volume to get around variance

These things have made my month worse then August:

- Somewhat lost respect for the buyin value, i know bluff alot alot more then before, do more moves and unnecessary shit to balance my valueranges in some spots. I analyze these situation very often and come to the same conclusion: this guy would've payed of anyway, he dun' give a shit seing me c/r 2 barrel as a bluff onetime. Its all about their card and if its not, its about scarecards and tilt, not about my frequences and ranges.

- Playing extremly long sessions to win the rake series, one day i got up to work at 5, got home from work at 17:00 and played poker until 02:30 in the night. To say the least ive been very tired and exhausted, which caused me to tilt slightly.

- I do no longer care about a single opponent at NL20, i do battle anyone since i do consider myself the best Headsup player for the level right now. This is naturally good but i also don't quit some playerstyles i have problems with. This is the same symptone like before, the limpers and creative retards. They are unable to handread, they are slow and keep pots small until the catch a piece or they just flip out totally. I play very bad versus them and since i don't need to face them, i shouldn't. They pretty much will dissapear at NL50 so i should just not care about them.

- I suck at 6max. Yes this is a statement, i have negative numbers for my career at 6max ( on this acc ). I don't know why but i play way to loose, people just don't fold stuff anymore so its pointless.

Bankroll status:

I'm currently superrolled for NL50, but i will soon be at 100 buyins, which i think is fine. This time, i will not fail, i will defeat NL50 Headsup. I've never been more focused, in control and secure about my game. The momentary value of NL50 no longer scares me, still it will be a while until i start Epeen matches, i will mostly focus on bumhuntin and taking down speculative halfregs. This will be the last update for September, I will get back when i enter the NL50 headsup stage and never look back. Over and out.

PS. Wish i could add some funny pics but i keep getting some error messages, trying to fix this soon

Ressurrected from the dead

4 September 2010
What did you think? Players like me don't quit, we're constantly hungry for the game, even though we take a break we do it for the greater purpose and at night, we fall asleep unhappy and empty waiting to get back to action.

Ive been away from the game since April, i'm going to explain why i took a break from the scene:

My job was getting more and more heavy, i had to put it in bigger focus and since i was learning new things every day that had to be processed i lost time and interest in poker. Along with a 3 day long runbad swing at PLO / NL 50 i cashed out and stopped playing. Truth is, im no fan of 6max at all, Headsup really is my game and being forced to play SH didnt fit me at all.

Now i've worked for 5 months and i feel really comfortable in it and can focus my freetime on other things like poker. I decided in july to pickup poker again and i told myself i wouldn't just jump into the games and instead do alot of research and study time. Ofcourse i was too hungry to start grinding i couldn't wait and combined with lack of knowledge and a really bad run i lost my initial deposit.

I got sick of it and quit again but then slowly realised it was my own incompetence that made me loose and i went into coaching vids / forums to retrieve my skill and it payed off. August results was pretty decent in the first half of the month and exploded in the later part. I played more and more and feeling more stable and secure as a person, i tilted less then in spring and ive just won straight the whole month. My results for august looks like this

September have started similiar, had a really big swingy day where i tilted against a donk who ran godmode on me and just limp called and draw out on me every hand, but since i've come along way mentally it didnt bother me and i was still fresh in the head and being 400 bucks down, i started 3 tables up with GBP 20 headsup and 1 USD headsup. Won it back and even more and ended the day up 80 bucks so i was happy, but i rather avoid those days, they do nothing but mess my head up and writing this i am up the same amount playing only 400 hands instead of 4000, which is much more comforting.
I'll report again soon, its hard to find good multitabling headsup matches vs good people, i do alot of bumhunting to be fairly honest which im not proud of and im planning to moving up pretty soon ( estimated around end of september, im going to be overrolled this time since last jumps to NL50 headsup have made me emotiioinally etached to the money and restricted me from my A-game). So long!

Massive Update

25 April 2010
Hey! Been a while and alot have happened. First off i haven't quit the game, rather the opposite as i'm doing pretty decent! However i have managed to get myself a fulltime job which takes away most of my time and focus from poker and i haven't been able to put in much time at all lately. So here's a quickie update of what is changed:

- I play max 2 hours a day now, trying to review sessions but mostly i don't have time to study much.
- I work, which is awesome, i love it and it makes my brain so much more effective and i feel more energic which means i don't screw around so much at the table, don't play tired and genuinly makes me a better player. ALSO, it does mean i won't have to cashout my roll for economic reasons.
- The psycho standards of playing and studying poker for 10 hours a day is gone, and its much harder to compete with headsup poker now. Therefor i have transitioned back to 6max and playing both PLO and NLHE. I've completly moved up to NL50 now and would consider myself to be doing quite well at the level. I'd estimate to be moving up to NL100 in about a month or so if things keep going like this. I won't post much hands right now but there will be some in a while. Stay tuned!!!

Stretch

27 March 2010
Got my laptop cracked for some reason , can't get it too boot so im unable to put in some sweat atm. I'll try to get it fixed asap but it looks like my winnings for march is ended. Updating later when i got it sorted.

Running sheit

21 March 2010

Basically thats it, looks small but thats close to 400 $ below EV and it says pretty much about whats going on atm. But honestly i'm still winning but at a quite slow rate so i still got faith. More concerning is the 15K hands before this were the graph was just falling right down without EV line going up. SPEW as its normally called.
I think i've become much more stable in my game, not calling as many crazy hands and playing reckless as before, more solid game but i think in the gameflow of most matches i should play more out of line because of my opponents looseness. Anyway, up about 700 $ for March sofar, tragic month compared to februari but i am not complaining.

Really not much happening

17 March 2010
Been a while, the downswing i had at nl50 really took my pokerthirst away and i haven't got it back really. It's just been going so extremely shitty, i'm running cold day in and out and have only made a profit one day the last week. Really shitty results and i feel like im just loosing the lust to play more and more for everyday i struggle to breakeven with all suckouts and retard runner runners.
Tried switching to FTP aswell but the site just fucks me over liberally, i get setups that i haven't seen in 20 000 hands on ipoker happening in the course of 30 hands and i'm just stunned that the site is so famous. I really really hate it, will definetly not speak about RNG being fixed but whatever software they're using, its not as "random" or the same definiton of randomness i'm used to at Ipoker.

So what else hmm, some stupid update on ipoker fucked up Minimaxmod so now its really ugly and bad to use, Ipoker have gone from 10 disconnects per day to about 50 now, i'm actually loosing huge edge at Headsup because of this, loads of huge pots where ive had nuts or winning hands ive checked or even folded timed out b/c of DC's. its so fucking annoying but they've had doubled maintenance the last days hope its solved.

So nothing much to do here, i will keep putting in as many hands i can and hope the wind turns soon, because when it does my bankroll will fly skyhigh in notime. But until then i will have to keep grinding for breakeven results and if this keeps up i will probably give this up in the end of march. Over and out!

Monster downswing

8 March 2010
Yesterday i took my biggest loosingday sofar, playing massive amounts at NL50 headsup and running totally in the grave. I didn't get too win a big hand, looking back at my hem i got sucked out in about 6-7 all ins with over 85 % equity, the rest was flips and i didnt end up winning a single one. Huge downswing, im running apeshit and that combined with 2 guys just hit n running my constantly made me tilt somewhat aswell. The days at NL50 are now counted for a while, i have to mvoe down to nL20 to grind my roll back up and its gonna take a while. I expect to be back in the circuit in like 2 weeks ready to attack NL50 once again

Bloody war

6 March 2010
Aight just finished the funniest 4 table session so far in all categories. THEHIGHWAYMAN came back and he had improved big time. Big respects to him he played very good, still had some leaks but overall he did great. Definietly a guy who will move up as soon as he gets his game figured out completly. We played over 2k hands now and it was messy , lots and lots of all ins and pressured 4-5 bet pots. He never gave up on a 3bet pot so before i adjusted properly to this i was down close to 10 buyins but then i adjusted properly (way to slow, but thats why im still at nl20/50). Ended the session up 50 bucks after getting sucked out in 2 big pots where he called a big 3bet on K78-r with JT oop and spiked a nine on the river and i had K9. This happened several occasions so he ran good and did some mistakes which payed off but so did i soo it was evened out. The sad part is that rake is totally messed up, over 2k hands i won 50 bucks, but my bankroll was down 140 which means i raked away 200 dollars over the course of the match. I'm gonna remember this and not play these epeen games where i have a slight edge anymore since its not profitable enough to defeat the rake at lowstakes. Anyway i also took a shot at NL100 where i stacked a fish ( ran good so it felt ok ), along with some NL50 action aswell im up 200 excluding rakeback. With RB im up about 300 but it still sucks because i was up 350 when i entered the match with HIGHWAYMAN. Well thats it anyway, creds to him, love to see him rise in the stakes with me seems like a good guy. Updating later .

Winning huge while in a downswing

5 March 2010
I love playing microstakes. The fact of the matter is that when you hit a wall of variance your mind is going to be in a bad mood. Which results in playing, well something other then your A-game. My problem is that when i get stuck, i become a machine. I get furious and overaggressive and can play 24 hours straight. I have a mindset that wants to win every pot. Now if i'd play much higher i would have to handle downswings by just quitting since i'll get crushed, but at microstakes, your "B-game" still crushes their C-D-game and being sickly aggressive just makes them scared shitless So somehow, even though running houndres of dollars below my EV-line the last 2 days im now up 400 bucks most of the income from yesterday where i solely won back around 550 over about 5000 hands. Many donks/fishes sacrificed their rolls too me, appreciated it alot! One fish i crushed for 3-4 buyins over like 100 hands, he then challenged me to play at NL50. I said lets make it 4 tables NL100. Let's see what happens, he's crazy bad and if i get the game running im going to win looooads. Back to grinding now, later

Cashout = jinxed

4 March 2010
Its like this everytime i make a cashout and comeback, i get completly fucked by variance. Last 2 days ive been extremely jinxed, people hitting gutters and runner runner draws on me every pot, It have affected me somewhat, i take it very easy with mediocre hands on drawy boards and just fastplay strong hands to not get sucked out, but overall i havent really tilted anything and it just shows how much ive grown since i started playing. With rakeback im down about 100 bucks last 2 days but im eager to grind it back as soon as luck is on my side again ( or atleast neutral)

unbanned?

3 March 2010
Wow so what happened here was pretty amazing. Yesterday morning i got banned from all stakes and in the afternoon i withdrew my whole bankroll. The morning after i get a message in my mailbox saying my ban has been lifted. Quite coincidental don't you think? I still withdrew most of my bankroll, i'll see what im gonna do if i stick in a K $ at FTP anyway, im really psyked to start playing there again but since i can play at all stakes at ipoker now and have a great deal i see no reason to leave the site completly. But my roll is really crippled so i'll stick to Nl20 HU for a while until i get back to 2K , then i'll start NL50 since i feel very comfortable there right now. Alright so just gonna go back to the tables like nothing happened and hope march turns out as fantastic as februari did =)

Moving on

2 March 2010
Haven't been arsed to update here lately, just been playing nonstop lately. I'm totally consumed by poker right now and it rocks. The bad news is that i just got banned from all stakes at ipoker which means i can't grind a bankroll for NL100 and move it to Fulltilt/uncover poker. so i'm probably withdrawing while figuring out what to do here. I'll be updating again when im installed on a new site

best day ever.

27 February 2010
Since i pretty much have no life i've been up all night playing poker. I've played about 4000 hands today and won close to 700 $, most from NL20 headsup on GBP tables (stakes are effectivly ~30$), this makes this day officially my best day since july somewhere where my best winningday was around 1,1k$ at NL50 headsup. To top this up, i quit the day by refreshing my HEM profit stats and this is just epic for a nerd like me =)

1337 bucks exactly, thats so elite! Thinking about taking some days off and being happy about my results for februari, but if i know myself correctly i will keep grinding the rest of the month aswell haha

joke of the day

27 February 2010
This day is hilarious, im up 400 bucks second biggest winning day sofar and just took a fish's buyin. He overbets turn and river Ace high and had been doing so the last 20 hands, i was just locking down waiting for a hand to call with, hit top pair and grab his remains. After that he had 60 cent left or something, he calls sb and i jam and he wins 1,22 dollar with J2 vs my AJ. After that he makes the funniest comment ever:

You just have to love em, putting there money up for grabs without knowing the game. love it

meh spew

26 February 2010
Yesterday i'm very disappointed with. I was up, then i lost it, then i got it back, got even more back and ended spewing all my profits of in the night and ended breakeven for the day.
Played very good when i wasn't spewing but then some idiot donk entered my headsup table and he donk potted F T R 100 % of the time. And he showed up some weird shi t and hit alot of gutters b door wat hands. Set me on tilt and i lost alot to him.
Got back and played a guy called cl4747, he lost about 150 euros to me ( poor lad ) over 200 hands and i was once again up for the day. THen i sat down at NL50 CG by the night and it went well at first, a guy limped sb and i checked T9. flop went 8 6 J, he pot , i call, turn Q he pot i call. pot was now 4 dollars and king comes on river and he jams for 50 more? he was outaline before and just totally spewfish so i called, he had like 74o and i said thanks.
But then i lost it somehow, i just let go of the solid playwell style i had been excersized the last days and became very, very creative. And thats bound to go wrong in 6max. ik
One hand i flat 44 3-way in sb vs a tight raiser EP and flop is like 85Q, checks around, J on turn checks to him he bets like half pot , weak bet looked like a jack and i decided to turn my fours into a bluff since i could easily play 88,55,9T,QJ like this and he didnt look to strong. so i reraised pretty big to leverage him into commiting his stack on a riverbet. But he just jammed over and i was out.
Second a fish calls my raise with KT, he was on btn i was CO, flop is 554-tt i cbet he raises small, i 3bet and he 4bets... Here i was like well i can i have a FD/op he shouldnt raise here without the five or a FD himself. but then i for some reason jammed and i was disguisted by it the second i pressed the button. ofcourse he snaps turns over 56o ( which is ofcourse a call from the btn...) and i draw dead.
I open QJo from btn get called by a fish. Flop is QT3-tt he donks and i reraise. he calls. the ten falls of on turn and he donks like 10 into 15. I decided his range was built up of FD and combodraws that i could get it in vs as fav and i didn't see him have a ten after i reraise the flop. So i jam and ofcourse he has the case T with the flushdraw which was the only hand i was worried to run into.. I start spewing alot here after just throwing 3 buyins away and after a while on a NL50 (euro) table a tight guy opens UTG, fish calls MP and i call with 22 in BB. Flop is TT2 EP bets out donk calls, i now know he's got a ten (timing history etc) and i had just bluffraised 3way with air vs him so i just made it the same sizing again ( pot was like 5+4+4 i raised 18 ), UTG folds and he SNAPJAMS and i SNAPCALL, he turns over TJ and i said, well im never goign to win this. This creepy feeling that if he'd had anything but that i would been happy. and it didnt even get interesting as he gets rescued by the case jack right on the turn and i said fuck this and went to bed instead. Bad play and coolertown made me end a day where i played great breakeven, im not gonna cry but it really really sucks

back in the zone

25 February 2010
Closing one of my best winning days ever right now, i've gone from 1780 to 2320 $ today and cant really describe how happy i am. Its not necessarly the value of money that makes me thrilled but rather the fact that i've developed my play greatly and become so much better in just 2 days. I was somewhat close giving up, it felt like the world turned against me, being in an unreal situation trying to move up in stakes and running chronically bad.

Now i've once again been given proof that there is no such thing as a downswing. I haven't run godly, but you can tell when things are turning around. You start flopping huge hands, plays work out for you, you make good laydowns and just owning the table in every aspect. That's how today's been, no real suckouts, coolers or stuff that i could add up to describe my hotness today, but it's just been going myway, call it what you like.

I've taken a step away from NL50 headsup play, i feel this is where im not comfortable yet so i will wait until my roll is larger to make a stand here. Still play headsup at nl20 since the players are so bad, but i play euro and gbp tables mostly to increase the stakes.
ive tried to mix that up with 5 6max CG tables and its been working great. I play a rather tight but solid gameplan at 6max tables, im not out of line at all but doing some of the normal tricks just to mix my game upt to the point where people gets paranoid enough to give action.

I feel like i've become a much better player already, the difference between NL20 play and NL50 is so extremely huge that it was necessary.
I've beginning to realise that the first sessions at NL50 my losses where only partly due to variance, but mostly it also involved my lack of experience. Luckily for me, i have played houndres of thousands hands before at NL50/100 and i think the hidden competence that i possessed a while ago is starting to come back.

So i'm gonna go at it tomorrow ofcourse, i got my pokerhunger refreshed bigtime today so there will be lots of nasty pokerupdates to come.

First Post, Some general info and my situation.

14 October 2009

Very well, it is finally done. I've taken the step into blogging, hope it will turn out to be a helping tool for selfperspective about my game and that i or my readers can improve their pokerz in some way.

For starters, i've played poker for a few years now, it all started with the great pokerflue that swiped over our so lovely planet back in 2003/4. I had no information about the game whatsoever, but i felt for it in a heartbeat and played homegames just about every night possible. I quickly established a kind of tight/weak playingstyle, which i found profiting me alot when i took the step to online poker. My career online started, like so many others in the SNG world where i completly out of bankroll started pounding on the 100 dollars games. Whether it was luck or faith, i won alot and made my first big cashout in mars 2004 of 4000 dollars, an amount which was insane at my age since noone had a job.

Rather then continue my road of success i layed back and contiuned my life as a progamer and after 4 years of zero gambling, i finally returned to the tables looking for some easy money. I was abit surprised when i realized that my tight/weak image was not earning me a nickle anymore. All the players seemed so aggressive, and everyone just showed up with better hands then me. I couldnt call that mid pair 3 streets out of position and expect he bluffed with A high anymore and i was just clueless what to do .

I went down to the lowest stakes i could play seriously, NL10 and started playing 1-2 table. it took me a few weeks to get on the track and i was turning my weak style into a more aggressive form, and it payed off. A few weeks later, after some great tournament and cash game results on pacific poker, i had built a bankroll of 800 dollars, which i took out and banked 300 $ on propagandapoker. Now i played NL20 and had through a promotion gained access to Holdem manager so i could keep track of what i was doing. Also, i quickly became a member of deucescracked.com which turned out to be the most profitable thing i've ever done in my life. I cannot describe how many thousands of dollars the skills i've reciever from that training site have earned me, but i am forever greatfull for that experience.

I ran good, i played good, i thought i was god, i lived like a god and boom my money was gone (no the broll but irl). I had to withdraw my whole earnings of about 5000 dollars and started looking for work and my pokercareer seemed to be over.

Now a few months later, i've started playing again but from being a NL100 reg i am now starting with a small chunk at NL20, trying to grind myself upwards. I'm going to have a work besides poker so that i don't have to ruin my roll because of my economic state. From October to Mars my goal is to move up from NL20 to NL100 and hopefully, progress my skills to a point where i can beat and play regularly on NL200 or as my title describes, even NL400. So now you know about my past, lets focus ahead on whats to come!

I'm going to feed this blog with results, session lookbacks, specific hands and if i get enough readers even camtasia recorded videos where i talk through my action. I have recorded a few session for private use but i would be thrilled to share that with my readers. Stay tuned for some upcoming action!
